AN EVENING IN PROVENCE WITH PETER MAYLE

British-born Peter Mayle is best known to North Americans for his witty and warm-hearted account of the adventures that await a couple who leave London to settle in the Lubéron region of Provence in the early ‘90s. In A Year in Provence, the author describes the colourful residents of his adopted region, the delights of its life and its cuisine, and expresses his love for this magnificent area of France.
On this occasion, he will explain his role as ambassador of the COMITÉ MISTRAL, a new committee established to showcase Provençal product brands, and to champion such values as originality, tradition, know-how, and innovation.
A number of businesses will be featured. We will also have the pleasure of welcoming Chef Jean-André Charial of the gourmet station Oustau de Baumanière, a singular and outstanding restaurant, recipient of two Michelin stars; it belongs to the Cabro d’Or hotel, member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux network. Chef Deff Haupt of Sofitel Montréal Hotel’s restaurant Renoir will also be present. Likewise, Provençal grape growers, all members of the COMITÉ MISTRAL who have come to attend this soirée, will introduce their wines that will accompany the exquisitely simple and flavoursome food of Provence.

Confirmation and Payment
You will receive an email 45 days prior to the event requesting that you confirm your reservation, and thus give other registrants an opportunity to attend our evening events. We ask that you submit final payment no later than the date recorded on the back of your registration coupon, and within 30 days of the event. Should your payment fail to arrive at the requisite date, your registration will be cancelled.
Cancellation
We offer no reimbursement following a cancellation once you have confirmed your presence. Please note that all thematic evenings, this year, will be held at the Galerie du Gouverneur situated at 903, De Lorimier Avenue.
